This website sets out the GBI Strategy for Carmarthenshire up to 2033.

Unlike other reports, this strategy is not designed to be read from start to finish. Instead, the different parts of the website link together to allow you to explore the key issues and green and blue infrastructure opportunities for yourself.

If you want to understand more about Carmarthenshire’s Green and Blue Infrastructure today – the Setting the Scene pages provide a brief overview of the existing GBI assets within the county.

If you want to find out more about the GBI opportunities for a particular town – please go to the relevant town under the Town Action Plans pages.

Within the Action Plans, a number of GBI “tools” are referred to – these relate to different types of interventions which would enhance the GBI network (e.g., river corridor restoration, or urban greening). To find out more about these tools, you can view the GBI Toolbox.
